The Capital Academy Class is officially halfway through their journey in this comprehensive program!

Over the past two weeks, students have been focused on practical fieldwork and equipment training while applying the safety principles and operational concepts they've learned throughout the Academy. These hands-on opportunities provide valuable real-world exposure while reinforcing the importance of safety, communication, and quality workmanship. 🦺

It's been rewarding to watch these young professionals grow throughout the program, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the weeks ahead. 👏

Our crews are hard at work on the U.S. 60/Route A Interchange Project in Webster County, MO!

Last week, the team successfully poured a 152-foot-long, 51-foot-wide bridge deck, placing 276 cubic yards of concrete over U.S. Route 60. 🚧

This project is part of a major infrastructure improvement that will create a new interchange, improve local connectivity, enhance traffic flow, and increase safety for residents, businesses, and travelers throughout the corridor.

Big shoutout to our crews for delivering this project. 👊

Our Capital Academy class has been busy seeing our divisions firsthand!

From touring the sand plant to visiting active paving projects, they have had the opportunity to see our operations in action and gain a deeper understanding of what makes our vertically integrated team so unique. 🦺

Big things are ahead!

Yesterday, alongside our partners at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly and Missouri Department of Transportation, our team was selected for the $471M Forward 44: Southwest I-44 Improvements Project.

This complex, long-anticipated design-build initiative will enhance multiple locations along the corridor, helping improve transportation infrastructure from Newton County to Laclede County. Together, we have the opportunity to contribute to a project that will serve travelers, businesses, and communities throughout the region for years to come.

To our teammates and CMT partners, thank you for the dedication, collaboration, and countless hours that made this possible. This opportunity belongs to every individual who contributed along the way and is a testament to what can be achieved through partnership and shared purpose. 👏

Over the past ten years, Capital has been incredibly grateful to experience meaningful growth alongside great teammates, trusted partners, and the legacy companies that have helped shape who we are today.

From expanding our capabilities and entering new markets to serving more communities across a broader footprint, each milestone represents the integrity, hard work, and commitment of the people behind it all.

While this video highlights only a portion of the projects, acquisitions, and achievements that have impacted our journey, every milestone has played an important role in our story and continued growth.

Welcome to the team, Capital Academy Class of 2026! 👏

This week, we proudly welcomed 21 students to the Capital team as they begin their six-week Capital Academy journey. Designed to launch careers in our industry, the Academy provides hands-on experience across our vertically integrated teams while giving students a firsthand look at the people, projects, and culture that drive our organization forward.

Throughout the program, these students will earn industry certifications, participate in equipment training, job shadow across divisions, and gain valuable insight from leaders throughout our company. More importantly, they’ll build meaningful relationships, develop practical skills, and gain real-world experience that will help prepare them for long-term success in the industry. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of construction professionals and look forward to watching this group grow over the coming weeks!
