🎙️ Tune in! Our own Lindsey Bernt, joined KLIN’s Grow Lincoln to talk about her start as a young architect and helping clients find “the why” behind their build.

We’re proud to have Lindsey representing Schwisow Construction and sharing a bit of who we are and how we build alongside our community. Thanks to KLIN and Grow Lincoln for having us!

Things are moving along at Inland Truck Parts & Service! Our team is adding three new service bays to keep trucks on the road and turnaround times quick. Inside, we’re expanding the existing restrooms and locker room to give their technicians more space and comfort during the workday.

Proud to help a Lincoln business grow. More to come! ✨

We came, we sponsored, we (mostly) hit our targets. 🎯 Proud to support the ABC Nebraska/South Dakota Sporting Clay Tournament and the Rebellion Fabrication team!

What a week at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce! 🙌

Our team attended their Business Toolbox to hear from Marthaellen Florence of Leadership Lincoln, Inc. and Larry Keiter of Larry Keiter Coaching about using coaching to build stronger teams. Thank you for sharing ideas we're already bringing back to the jobsite and the office!

Later in the week, we joined Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development’s celebration for this year's Lincoln Littles Family Friendly award recipients. Wesley Leuck was honored to speak about why Schwisow Construction was one of the first businesses to apply, and what being family friendly means from a business perspective. Supporting our employees' families isn't just the right thing to do. It helps us attract and keep good people, and it strengthens our whole community.

Congratulations to all of the businesses recognized, and thank you to the Lincoln Chamber for bringing us together!

Nothing beats starting the day with a sunrise, a hot breakfast, and the whole team around the table! 🌞

This morning Ellerbrock-Norris led a session on coordinating site safety and handling challenges on the jobsite. Benefits Management followed with a session on insurance and health and wellness, because looking out for our team doesn't stop when they leave the job site.

As summer comes to a close, we’re grateful for the time and hard work our interns brought to Schwisow Construction!

Claire, Isaac, and Ricardo spent the summer getting a true look at the construction industry, working both in the office and out on jobsites while gaining experience across different areas of our business. Along the way, they completed OSHA 30 training, volunteered with the Food Bank of Lincoln, and wrapped up their internships with presentations highlighting a special project and what they learned throughout the summer.

We’re excited to have Claire continue her journey with Schwisow Construction, and we wish Isaac and Ricardo the best as they head back to UNL this fall. Thank you all for jumping in, asking questions, and being such a great part of our team this summer. We can’t wait to see what’s next for each of you! 👏🏼

Take a look at the newly remodeled Neenah Foundry! ✨

Our crew completed a full roof and wall panel replacement on the 70' Sand Tower building. Plus, a wall system upgrade on the adjacent Shoulder Building, adding high-R insulation for energy efficiency, a new roof tie-off system for fall protection, and a fresh look to match.

Big thanks to our field crew for tackling a challenging environment head-on, and to Eric Philippi for the attention to detail he brought to every step.
