On Saturday, June 6th, six GH Phipps team members, along with their loved ones, participated in the inaugural Construction Hike for Hope at the National Western Center in support of the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP).

As both a participant and event sponsor, GH Phipps was proud to support an important cause that raises awareness for mental health and su***de prevention within the construction industry and our community. The event brought together industry partners, families, and advocates for a meaningful morning focused on hope and support.

We’re grateful to our employees who represented GH Phipps and helped make a positive impact through their participation. We are already looking forward to next year’s hike.

This week, we broke ground on the Southeast Community Center in Fort Collins, and what a moment it was! 🙌

Surrounded by community partners, City leaders, the Fossil Ridge High School Pep Band, and the incredible team helping to realize the community’s vision, we turned dirt on a facility that will serve generations of Fort Collins residents. From recreation and fitness to a state-of-the-art library and aquatic facilities, this community center is going to be something truly special.

Thank you to the City of Fort Collins, Poudre Libraries, Poudre School District, and Clark & Enersen for your partnership and shared vision for this community! Let’s go build something that matters!

We’re excited to welcome Abel Berumen to GH Phipps Concrete Services as a future Carpenters Apprentice! Abel’s journey began with a hands-on concrete finishing class at Cherry Creek Innovation Center (CCIC), taught by Abe Arenas, a GH Phipps Employee. Abel's interest in the field was sparked and with support from a CCIC instructor and a connection through David Kelly, a project superintendent, Abel found his way to our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

To celebrate Abel’s achievement and show our support Abe, and Brent, two GH Phipps employees attended his high school graduation, presenting him with company swag and a warm welcome. We’re proud to invest in the next generation of builders and look forward to a growing partnership with CCIC helping teach future construction leaders.

Congratulations, Abel! We can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make.

Big things are coming to the Estes Valley Library. 🎉

Last Friday, we were proud to join the community for a wall-breaking ceremony marking the official start of renovations. Every project has a story and this one involves nearly three years of planning, budgeting, fundraising, and designing as we worked with the Library and the community to settle on a plan that fits “just right” as Goldilocks would say. Planned improvements include a dedicated Teen space, play-based early literacy features in the Youth Room, new and refreshed bathrooms, improved safety and sightlines throughout the building, and new circulation through the building. All while maintaining operations for community members throughout construction.

We're grateful to bring this vision to life alongside our design-build partner, Studiotrope Design Collective. Congratulations to the Estes Valley Library team and everyone who helped make this moment happen.

From walking the site to hearing stories from our team, we’re proud to welcome these future Leaders to GH Phipps and excited to see how their curiosity and drive will help shape the spaces that matter most across Colorado.

This past weekend, we celebrated a ribbon cutting at Roosevelt Park in Longmont.

This renovation transformed an existing community park with new play equipment and safety surfacing, fitness equipment, concrete flatwork, landscaping, and a renovated irrigation system, delivered with care and craftsmanship.

A big thank you to our design partner, PEH ARCHITECTS, MMLA Landscape + Planning, and Professional Engineering Consultants for their collaboration in bringing this project to life. Roosevelt Park has served the Longmont community for generations, and we're proud to have played a role in its next chapter. Congratulations to the City of Longmont, Colorado Government and thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate!

This past weekend, through our wellness initiative, we were able to sponsor 15 GH Phipps employees to participate in the Colfax Marathon Corporate Relay as part of three relay teams.

It was a great weekend of teamwork, competition, and representing GH Phipps outside of the office and jobsites. Congrats to everyone who participated! 🏃‍♂️
