Meet Gryfyn, one of the most loyal members of the All Under One Roof family.

We’re back in Overland Park, Kansas with another repeat client, and before Bryan can even finish his walkthrough, Gryfyn is already making his rounds. 😂

Checking the materials.

Inspecting the equipment.

Making sure nobody mice, varmints, or otherwise is messing with anything that belongs to our homeowners.

You know it’s real when even our dog doesn’t play around when it comes to our clients. 😂🐾

Our slogan has always been “Attention To Your Every Detail,” and apparently Gryfyn has lived around Bryan and this team long enough to take that personally too.

WHEN DID THE SOUND OF RAIN STOP FEELING PEACEFUL AND START FEELING LIKE A WARNING? 🌧️🏡

For some homeowners, rain means slowing down, enjoying a quiet evening, and listening to the storm from the comfort of their living room.

THIS IS WHAT 32+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE BEFORE THE “PRETTY” PART EVEN STARTS. ❤️🔨

We’re in Prairie Village, Kansas, and Bryan is kicking off another project for homeowners he cannot say enough good things about.

You can hear it in the video.

He calls them great human beings, amazing people, and says he couldn’t feel more blessed to have clients who trust All Under One Roof to come into their home and do some seriously cool work for them.

And this project is a perfect example of why an experienced general contractor has to look at the whole property, not just the addition being built.

The exciting part coming next?

A new addition that will include a golf simulator. ⛳🏡

But before Bryan and our team start building that space, there is an existing problem that needs to be handled correctly.

Stormwater coming down from the city street has been making its way toward the property and has caused serious flooding around the garage.

So instead of building around the problem and hoping for the best, Bryan is dealing with it first.

Our CAT 304 excavator, complete with the claw attachment Bryan is proudly showing off, is on site to begin the excavation.

The plan includes roughly 130 feet of drainage work, including a substantial stormwater drainage line that will help move that water away from the home and toward the collection area.

That is the kind of work homeowners may never notice once the landscaping is restored and the beautiful addition is finished.

But it is also some of the most important work we will do.

Because the future client watching this should know something:

A great renovation is not just about what you can see when the project is finished.

It is about solving the problems underneath it before they can compromise everything you are investing in above it.

THIS IS THE MOMENT AN OUTDOOR KITCHEN STOPS LOOKING LIKE A PLAN… AND STARTS LOOKING LIKE A PLACE A FAMILY WILL ACTUALLY LIVE IN. ❤️🔥

We’re back in Leavenworth, Kansas, and this project has taken another big step forward.

If you’ve been following along, you’ve already watched Bryan explain the cedar framing, the roof structure, and how every part of this new outdoor kitchen is being planned around the way our homeowners will actually use it.

Now those ideas are becoming real.

The masonry kitchen structure is taking shape, and Bryan is walking through the individual spaces built into it: dedicated storage, pantry areas, a pull out trash location, room for the propane tank, and the areas that will eventually support the cooking and countertop setup.

And that countertop matters too.

Bryan is already thinking about the bar height, overhang, seating, lighting, and how people will move around the kitchen once family and friends are gathered here.

Look up and you can see another major part of the transformation.

That beautiful cedar ceiling and exposed timber structure is coming together, with lighting locations being incorporated into the design, including the areas planned for pendant lighting.

But one of our favorite parts of this walkthrough happens when Bryan turns the camera toward the outdoor living space our team built for these same homeowners a couple of years ago.

That existing structure is still gorgeous.

The heavy timber details. The cedar ceiling. The columns. The open gathering space. The glass elements designed into the front. The craftsmanship our team put into it.

And now the goal is for this new outdoor kitchen to feel like it belongs beside it.

Not like somebody added another structure years later.

Like it was always meant to be there. ❤️
