From building rabbit cages at just 14 years old to leading one of the South Shore’s most trusted exterior remodeling companies, owner Jim DelPrete has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for working with his hands. 🛠️🐇

While studying environmental science in college, Jim developed a strong appreciation for sustainability and conservation, values that still guide our company today. 🌎🏡 Those efforts helped DelPrete Home Improvements earn the prestigious Owens Corning Pinnacle Award for Sustainability in both 2023 and 2025. 🏆♻️

A fresh new roof for this Middleborough home! 🔨🏠 The homeowner wanted their new roof to match the shingles on their garage, and Project Manager Derek went the extra mile to research and color match the existing faded shingles for a seamless finished look. 👏🎨

Before getting started, the DelPrete Home Improvements Roofing Team carefully protected the home and surrounding areas by tarping from the roof to the ground. Our crew then removed the existing shingles, including the first layer, and installed Rhino Granulated Ice & Water along with Rhino U20 underlayment for long lasting protection.

For the finishing touch, the homeowner selected Owens Corning TruDef Duration Shingles in Williamsburg Gray with matching Hip & Ridge Shingles. We also installed Starter Shingles at all roof edges, including the Gables, for maximum performance and durability. 🏡⚡

Another roof replacement completed by the DelPrete Home Improvements team, this time in Dedham, MA! 🙌

Our crew started by fully protecting the property with tarping from the roof to the ground before removing all existing roofing shingles. From there, we installed a complete Owens Corning Roofing System designed for long lasting protection and performance. 🏡💪

Another beautiful exterior upgrade completed by the DelPrete Home Improvements team in Carver! This project featured installing 2 sliding glass doors and 15 windows, giving the home improved energy efficiency, durability, and a refreshed modern appearance. Our crew started by carefully removing and disposing of the old windows and doors before inspecting each opening to ensure everything was solid and rot-free before installation. 🔨

For the patio doors, the homeowner selected two ProVia Endure 2-Lite Patio Doors with White Internal Blinds, one for the kitchen and one for the living room. These premium doors are known for their smooth operation, energy efficiency, advanced weatherstripping, and secure multi point locking system, making them a durable and low maintenance upgrade. 🚪

To complete the transformation, we installed ProVia Endure Windows featuring clear glass and the ComforTech DLA-UV Southern Energy Glass Package for superior performance and comfort year round. The project included 3 factory mulled DH-Picture-DH Window units along with 12 Double Hung Windows, finished with 5/4” PVC Exterior Trim and 2.5” Colonial Primed Pine Interior Trim ready for the homeowner’s custom paint color. ☀️
