If your AC takes forever ⏳ to cool your home or if your AC does not blow cold air anymore, your unit may be low on refrigerant. ⬇️ When your HVAC system needs more refrigerant at least once a year, it is probably worth scheduling a leak search. 🔍🧑‍🔧

👉 We repair the leaks we find whenever possible.
👉 When the leak cannot be repaired, a leak search is still useful so that you only replace the affected piece of equipment instead of the entire system.
👉If your system is under warranty, you only pay for the labor and the refrigerant required for replacement.

During a leak search, our trained technicians look at all parts of your HVAC system to find extra openings, no matter how small. Our experts check all valves, fittings, and even coils for spots where refrigerant can escape.

If there are no visible holes, we step up our investigation. Our technicians add a harmless fluorescent dye to the HVAC system, as pictured below. We allow the system time to circulate the dye, at least a couple days. In the meantime, we can top your system off with refrigerant so you have working AC the same day. When our technicians return, we use a UV flashlight to pinpoint the exact opening where your unit is losing refrigerant. We can use a variety of methods to stop leaks, including sealant, solder, and replacement if needed.
