I am a lover of gladiolus. I am always impressed with how something so dramatic and has such an array of colors comes from such an ugly corm. These flowers have the unfortunate reputation of being a funeral flower. I grew this more miniature variety for more options in arrangements. Anyone else grow them? I’m intent on encouraging lovers of this misunderstood flower.

As tulips start to emerge, I get frustrated with their short stem length. After a couple of days of warm weather and then some rain, they almost grow overnight to be part of a beautiful Mother’s Day bouquet. So many amazing varieties to choose from!
