Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our family.

Although we have been running both businesses for over a month, we are incredibly excited and grateful to officially announce that we have closed on the purchase of Putter Up Mini Golf and Northwoods Landscape Center!

This journey has been filled with excitement, challenges, and countless emotions, and we truly couldn’t have done it without the amazing people who have stood beside us.

First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Chad and Jennifer. Thank you for trusting us with something you’ve worked so hard to build. Throughout this entire process, you’ve been so much more than sellers—you’ve become dear friends. Your patience, guidance, encouragement, and willingness to help us every step of the way have meant more than words can express. We are honored to continue the legacy you’ve created while building upon it for the future.

To our family and friends—thank you for believing in us, encouraging us, lending a helping hand, and supporting us through every late night, long day, and big decision. Your love and support have carried us farther than you know.

And finally, to all of our wonderful customers, thank you for welcoming us with open arms. Whether you’ve visited the mini golf course, stopped by the landscape center, or supported our other businesses over the years, your kindness and encouragement have been overwhelming. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

We’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to continuing to improve, grow, and create a place where families can make memories and our community can enjoy everything Putter Up Mini Golf and Northwoods Landscape Center have to offer.

Here’s to new beginnings, lifelong friendships, and an exciting future.

🦋 Apparently our 1½” washed stone is so popular, even butterflies are reserving a spot.

This little chrysalis is hanging out with us while it finishes becoming a butterfly. If nature approves of Northwoods Landscape Center, that’s good enough for us! 😄

🌿 Northwoods Landscape Center Update 🌿

Please excuse our current mess!

We are in the process of reorganizing and expanding our yard to make loading materials easier, improve traffic flow, and create more convenient parking for our customers. With all of the exciting additions and changes happening, things may look a little chaotic for a short time.

As you can see, we’re even working late into the evening to get everything straightened out as quickly as possible! Our goal is to create a better experience for everyone who visits Northwoods Landscape Center.

We are OPEN throughout this entire process and would love to see you stop in! Our plants, landscaping supplies, mulch, stone, and other products are still available, and we’re excited to help with your projects.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we continue to grow and improve. We can’t wait to show you the finished result!

🌲 FEATURE PLANT OF THE DAY: BLACK HILLS SPRUCE!

Looking for a hardy evergreen that can handle Wisconsin winters? The Black Hills Spruce is one of the toughest trees around!

It is dense with dark green needles and works great as a great privacy screen or windbreak. They are also cold hardy to -40°F and beyond. Black Hills Spruce are also a beautiful natural Christmas tree shape, perfect for decorating in the winter!

Fun Fact: Black Hills Spruce is often considered one of the best evergreen trees for northern climates because it tolerates wind, snow, and harsh winters better than many other spruce varieties.
