Huge fall clean up job. Mulched leaves with my mower, bagged and collected, loaded them into the back of my truck to bring to the transfer station tomorrow morning. This would have been a 50+ lawn bag job, easily. Mowing and bagging is definitely the way to go here.

Client just moved in and owns 1/4 acre in uptown Kingston. He saw my sign and called me for mow and a yard cleanup. The back lot is a perfect rectangle and is fenced in. On one side of the lot, on the other side of the fence, is a little brook. It had a thick growth of those tuber plants. Also along that fence line was a pile of branches and leaves. I stopped over 3 weeks ago and gave it just a quick mowing. Spent only one hour. The grass was about 2ft high and filled up two of my big green landscape bins which was not a big deal except that the only way into the backyard was by dropping down a 3.5 foot ledge. Needless to say, it was heavy lugging that landscape bin up that ledge. I left the job site thinking how awful it would be if I had to log all of the leaves and branches up that ledge the next visit. So I did a bit of research and floated the idea to the client of me building a dead hedge compost area. Spend a little bit of time creating the dead hedge and then I could just dump the leaves and grass from my cleanup right there. I’ll turn it every visit, I’ll have a place to put fallen sticks and branches and now the client will have compost to use for gardening, as well.

Ugh, another sunny day here in Kingston, NY. Well, we do need the sun, they say. And what better way to utilize all those life giving photons than a clean trim up to expose all those chlorophyllic plant cells just yearning to pump out that fresh oxygen for all our lil alveoli. And that’s where I come in. Pixy’s Lawn Care, providing fresh oxygen for all sentient beings since 2013.

Hey everyone! Happy Spring!

I want to let you all know that I am available for helps with your properties. Here’s what I am good at...

-mowing
-trimming: limbs, hedges and grass
-edging: garden beds, driveways and sidewalks
-cultivating: smallish areas
-clean ups
-reclaiming property: w**d and overgrowth removal

I use only battery powered equipment and remove all debris I collect. I am efficient, clean, quick and reliable. I don’t do contracts. Honest work for honest pay.
