After more than 60 years of building New England’s infrastructure, P. Gioioso & Sons, Inc. turned its focus inward and the result is a fully transformed headquarters built to support the next chapter of their history.

This was more than an office refresh. The project included a full renovation of the first and second floors, structural rework, redesigned floor elevations, interior brick repointing, refurbished exposed timber beams and columns, and a new elevator installation. The updated floorplan creates additional office space and much needed equipment storage.

Upgrades also included new and efficient MEP systems with exposed HVAC and sprinklers, full window replacement, fiber cement decorative panels, and an enhanced building facade featuring a new curtain wall at the front entrance. All work was completed while the building remained occupied through close coordination and collaboration.

Partner Spotlight - Berkeley Investments

For more than two decades, our relationship with Berkeley Investments has been built on trust, consistency, and shared standards for quality.

Since Vantage Builders was founded in 2000, Berkeley has been a valued client, partnering with us across numerous assets to support increased occupancy, stronger tenant retention, and long-term building performance. At the Watch Factory in Waltham, a mixed-use property along the Charles River, our team has completed dozens of projects ranging from office build-outs and tenant improvements to base building and common area upgrades.

Working on so many projects at one location has allowed us to develop a deep understanding of the building’s systems and a strong working relationship with the Berkeley property management team and trade partners. That familiarity translates into efficiency, collaboration, and better outcomes for tenants.

In this video, Kelly Levasseur, Operations Manager at Berkeley Management, shares her perspective on our long-standing partnership and what it’s been like working with the Vantage team over the years.

Safety works best when every team on site is aligned and communicating clearly.

On a construction project, multiple crews are often working side by side, with work overlapping and conditions changing throughout the day. When everyone is operating from the same plan and staying connected in the field, it helps reduce risk and keeps work moving safely and efficiently.

Cross-team alignment is about more than coordination. It is about making sure expectations are clear, communication is consistent, and everyone is looking out for each other on site.

We bring our team together regularly for First Aid/CPR/AED training. It helps ensure consistency, strengthens emergency preparedness, and builds trust across our teams. This certification is a key component of our safety program and supports a strong safety culture across all of our job sites and in the office.

Construction Safety Week 2026 is here, and while it offers us an opportunity to pause and reflect, safety is not something that starts or stops. It is a constant part of how we plan, how we work, and how we look out for each other in the field.

Every task, every detail, and every decision is approached with safety in mind. From preconstruction through closeout, we stay focused on maintaining clear communication, following best practices, and supporting one another on site.

The goal is simple. Everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
