We remodeled most of this house with several different projects over the course of two years. Some of the work included removal of a large brown brick fireplace and replacing it with full glass French doors which opened and transformed the entire house. We remodeled two bathrooms, custom cabinet doors and painted cabinets, kitchen island with custom butcher block top, added can lights and eliminate the ceiling texture, custom shelves in the shop, etc. The list goes on. (Pictures in previous posts) Not long after we completed the last project the ice maker line that was poorly installed by the previous tile contractor was nicked and leaked between the tile and plywood subfloor, down the beam and out to the joists for several weeks before they noticed and almost fell through the floor from the rot. Sealed into sections of the house, to keep the customers climate controlled and clean, we rebuilt the bottom 1/3 of the home right under their feet, one section at a time, while they were living there. Center beam, joists and most of the subfloor. New insulation, new footer, updated crawlspace plumbing and more. Put all new oak hardwood floors throughout the home and ran 100amp service and water to the shop. Complete repaint for much of the house and new base trim throughout. They have their home back better than ever!
