Keeping the character of an older home matters.

This archway was originally plaster — and after severe moisture damage, it was torn up beyond belief. There was no easy route here. The homeowner wanted the original look preserved, so instead of changing the shape or compromising the character, we rebuilt it properly using arch‑way bead to bring it back the way it was meant to be.

most people do not notice drywall seams until it is too late.

the truth is, seams are everything. walls and ceilings are not flat by default. they are made flat by knowing how much mud to apply, where to build it, and how to feather it correctly.

too little mud and you will see every seam. too much mud and you end up with waves, shadows, and uneven light.

what hurts the most is that these issues are rarely noticed during the work. they show up after the walls are painted, the lighting is installed, and the furniture is moved in.

at that point, correcting the problem means moving furniture, protecting floors, refinishing surfaces, repainting, and disrupting your entire schedule all over again.
