Let’s break it down:

1️⃣ Irrigation lines over your septic tank = bad idea
Anything crossing the tank lid can turn a simple service call into a complicated (and expensive) problem. It's on automatic fail for a real estate inspection!

2️⃣ That 90° inlet isn’t your friend
In our county, most inlets like the white pipe shown are capped or not easily accessible per code.
And here’s the key point:
👉 Most backups in the home occur due to a blockage right at that sharp 90° turn.

That’s why we usually recommend calling a plumber first to snake the line before we start digging or cutting.
Otherwise, you may be adding unnecessary repair costs when the real issue is in the line, not the tank.

3️⃣ Roots don’t care about your septic system… but they will wreck it anyway 🌳
Trees and landscaping should always be kept away from your tank and drain field. Once roots get in, they don’t leave quietly.
