Our customer wanted a simple, neutral and functional bathroom without tile due to the occasional shifting of his pier-and-beam home.

We delivered a beautiful finish-out complete with a walk-in shower, custom cabinetry, and a new pocket door to maximize space! We also did quite a bit of work on his subfloor to create a solid foundation, all new drywall, texture and paint.

Just another busy week at Onyx Construction Group!

A glimpse into a typical week serving our multifamily clients! From dog park improvements and wrapping up a large carpentry pick-and-pull project to roof, concrete, stair, and sheetrock repairs across multiple properties, our crews stay busy!

Sometimes it’s nice to stop and reflect on how far we’ve come. ❤️

Jeff and I are so grateful for our family, friends, business, and the amazing customers we have who continue to trust and support us.

Building a business takes a lot of hard work, long hours, sacrifices, and determination. It’s definitely a grind 😅 It hasn’t always been easy, but it sure is rewarding to see that hard work pay off!

We’re proud of what we’ve built together, thankful for everyone who has been part of our journey, and excited for what’s ahead.

God has been good, and our hearts are full! ❤️

As this city staff grows, so does their need for space and security.

We recently helped upgrade this city office with new cabinets, countertops, electrical and lighting upgrades, along with new doors and service counters complete with bullet-resistant glass for added security.

Wrapping up a project that was especially meaningful to us. Being there brought back so many memories of the church where Jeff was raised and where he and I were both baptized 21 years ago.

This local church recently experienced an unfortunate situation that left its building damaged and in need of additional security. We were grateful for the opportunity to step in, repair the damage, and help make the church safer and more secure with a new alarm system and new doors.

While we were there, we were also able to take care of several much-needed repairs and upgrades, including sheetrock, plumbing, brick and concrete repairs, a roof coating, welding and painting of the baptistery, repairs and full paint in the sanctuary, as well as fresh parking lot striping.

The building is now secure, refreshed, and back in tip-top shape—but this project became about so much more than the work itself.

Throughout this project, we had the opportunity to partner with The Gallagher Family and witness firsthand the goodness of people who simply wanted to help. Watching everyone come together, support one another, and do whatever was needed was truly something special. Everyone we had the privilege of working with was incredibly kind, gracious, and appreciative from beginning to end.

There’s something especially rewarding about using what we do every day to help people through a difficult situation. We’re incredibly thankful they trusted us to help restore their church and leave it safer, stronger, and ready to continue serving their congregation and community.

Projects like this are a reminder that construction isn’t always just about improving a building. Sometimes it’s about helping take care of a place that holds memories, brings people together, and means so much to so many. ❤️

✨ Bathroom Remodel Transformation ✨

We loved helping this sweet couple completely rethink the layout of their bathroom and make the space work better for them!

The tub was removed and the shower was relocated into that space, allowing us to create a larger walk-in shower with a bench seat.

The original shower space became the new home for the toilet, giving the bathroom a much more functional layout.

Where the toilet used to be, we removed the walls and opened up the room, then added a beautiful custom cabinet with open shelving and lighting underneath the shelves. We also installed a matching cabinet above the toilet to tie everything together.

New flooring, updated lighting, and all the finishing touches completed the transformation. 🤍

We love remodels like this because sometimes it’s not about adding more space—it’s about making better use of the space you already have.

There’s something extra special about getting to be part of a project right here in our hometown and community! 🖤

We were proud to help with the improvements surrounding our newly renovated Senior Center and Recreation Center, including:

🔨 A new 40-space asphalt parking lot
🔨 New concrete approaches and sidewalks
🔨 An ADA-compliant ramp with handrails for improved accessibility
