Head down to for some free Lovage from my garden tomorrow!

Lovage is a wonderful and beautiful medicinal herb that helps with water retention and fluid regulation. The stems are fun straws for drinks from the garden, and the leaves make great tea, stocks, soup, pesto, and stuffing.

People used to plant Lovage by their house to ward off negativity and illness. Seems like a pretty good time to bring that back.

How to make a raised bed herb garden

Raised Beds make gardening so much easier, and you can put them anywhere. I like to keep these right outside my kitchen and near the BBQ to have fresh herbs available quick and easy.

I like to line my raised beds with cardboard to help keep weeds out. Then add your favorite soil, compost, and organic fertilizers (if you wish).

Finally plant your favorite herbs in the bed! I love Parsley, Thyme, Sage, Chives, Dill, Basil, Oregano, and Marjoram.

Adding edible flowers like Calendula, Borage, and Johnny Jump Ups is fun, too.
