All of our cabinets start with hand selected Baltic Birch ply throughout for unmatched durability. Dovetail joinery provides a rock solid carcass that can withstand almost any form of beating. Poplar face frames are precision mitered and glued (not screwed) to the carcass for a one piece box that not only features an amazing aesthetic, but a rattle free foundation for the loudest playing situation
s. I use old school cane grill cloth for both its beauty and it sonic properties, providing just enough diffusion to tame the wild high mids found in the speakers that most rock and rollers favor. All guitar models come stock with WGS Veteran 30/ et-65speakers. WGS is an American company producing speakers on par with models we have come to love but have since been farmed out to overseas factories. Sorry but it's just not the same. Check out their video and sound bytes. They really speak for themselves. Cabinets are finished with my favorite waterbased dyes, sealers and clears. While water based finishes may not add the "depth" of traditional solvent based finishes, it does offer all of the same protection and durability while keeping our manufacturing footprint as low as possible. Like Henry Ford said, " The customer can have any color he wants as long as it's black". My cabinets are simple, elegant and utilitarian. Most importantly, they sound great!
