During drought conditions, herbicides often lose effectiveness, making mowing an even more valuable tool.

Although this dog fennel has already flowered, mowing now will still provide benefits by allowing more sunlight to reach your desired forage species. For best results, mark your calendar to schedule a spring mowing before dog fennel blooms again.
