Show the boys the right way to put tin down..
1st when you strip a house, you rather go farther apart with thicker metal.. Less nails, less chance of leaks and u can easily walk on metal. When you lay strips, nails or screws should always be in tar strip of shingle. No cloister or sweat will seap thru,
2nd leave the ridge, it be if it's u.. Strips flush tin level..
It breathes and protects u from creatures or rats and double protection..
3rd, never put felt under strips, iv not seen anyone do what I do, u put felt under top strip and nail under top.. No felt taps.. Thus give 100 percent dry and no leaks.
4th, top and bottom strips don't got to be
While strips, saves customer money..
5th I make my own boots o big ones.
6th, lay tin perfect straight and predrilled holes, giving u a perfectly straight lines....
Not only roof looks amazing, it feels and opperates amazing
