From design, to fresh planting, to full-on summer abundance 🌿✨
This garden was planted in June, and just a few short months later, it has completely taken off. The plants have established beautifully, filling the space with layers of color, texture, movement, and life.
Now at peak bloom, it’s a wonderful reminder of what a little time, sunshine, and warm weather can do. And thankfully, here in Rhode Island, September still has plenty of summer left to enjoy. ☀️🌸

This season brought unprecedented opportunity for growth. The work coming in necessitated the need to expand, and desire to get work done faster. That resulted in the ability to put the hard work back into the business. A new trailer, machine, and multiple opportunities to learn from past experiences that will only help serve as tools for future projects. All with strong support of family and friends, especially my wifey Elisha Hall, and my Dad, Jeff. The kid in me still loves to get dirty, and as challenging as the landscape industry can be, getting dirty still brings a smile to my face. I absolutely love working outdoors, and am thankful I have had the opportunity to work in an industry I am passionate about. Definitely looking forward to some cooler fall weather. For now, here are a few action shot from the hustle and bustle.

I’ve always had a passion for teaching and instructing, whether it’s training new staff or helping business owners. I’m excited to be continuing that passion by instructing Level 2 audit training this week. This training is an opportunity to build on foundational audit knowledge and focus on skills that help experienced associates take their work to the next level. Looking forward to a great training session and to continuing to support the growth and development of the next generation of audit professionals!

Scenes from this past weeks job. The base for this walkway had eroded over the years due to poor drainage and water accumulation. I did a lift and re-lay with new open graded base, concrete and rebar edges, and polymeric sand joints, as well as diverting water through underground piping. Kept the pattern the same but eliminated an unnecessary step, and preserved the patina on the face of the bluestone. arnoldlumber for hardscape supplies.
