This project was all about solving a problem. 🧐

The bank below the wall was washing out, and the homeowner didn’t have a comfortable way to get down to the river.

We installed a cost-effective walkway and added riprap against the wall to make the space more functional while helping hold the bank back.

Meet the Team Behind Oconee Roots Lawn Care LLC!

Hey Oconee County! I’m Brady Hopkins, and this is my amazing fiancé, Kate. Together - with an awesome, hardworking crew - we own and operate Oconee Roots Lawn Care LLC, right here in my hometown of Walhalla, SC.

You’ve probably seen us around: in our trucks, on job sites, or eating lunch at the local gas stations. But I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce ourselves.

I was born and raised here, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a serious work ethic. Even though we started with just making tall grass short, I’ve always had an engineering mindset and love to help make our client’s properties their best.

At 18, I graduated high school early to go full time in the pursuit of growing this business! I have met some pretty incredible people and learned a lot so far. Our mission is this: to serve our community with excellence in lawn care and landscaping while building up the lives of the people we employ and the customers we serve. We strive to honor God through honest work, reliable service, and creating outdoor spaces that bring joy and value.

Today, Oconee Roots is a skilled local team taking on jobs with creativity, integrity, and hometown pride. While we still put a beautiful finish on the lawns, we have proudly expanded our services to:

• Hardscape (Wall, Patios, Walkways, Stairs, etc)
• Landscape Design and Installation
• Drainage Solutions
• Dirt Work
• Seasonal cleanup and leaf removal.
