🏡 Another Exterior Project Underway!

We kicked off our latest exterior project on Friday with a thorough power washing to get everything cleaned up and ready for prep!

Next up, we’ll be getting started on some necessary wood repairs before moving into the painting process. 🎨

🏡 A Big Transformation in Bristol!

This one has been a long time coming, and we’re proud to finally share the finished result!

There was a lot more to this project than just a fresh coat of paint. This historic Bristol home needed extensive preparation and wood repairs before we could bring the exterior back to life.

🔨 Over 40 damaged clapboards replaced
🔨 Rotted and damaged window, door & corner trim repaired/replaced
🔨 Old fire escape removed
🎨 Extensive scraping, sanding, caulking & spot priming
🎨 Two finish coats applied to the siding, trim, gutters, downspouts, exterior doors & front gate
🏠 Wood repairs, extensive prep & two finish coats completed on the shed as well

The before and progress photos really show just how much preparation went into this one. Once everything was properly repaired and prepared, we applied two finish coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select High Build in Low Lustre and Soft Gloss finishes, bringing the home back to life while preserving the character of this beautiful property.

A lot of work went into getting this one across the finish line, and we’re very happy with how it all came together!

🎨 Making Progress in Bristol!

After weeks of extensive prep, repairs, and delays from Mother Nature, it feels good to see this project really starting to come together!

Today we continued working our way around this Bristol home, spraying and backrolling the first coat on the south side and back of the house.

✨ A Clean, Crisp Refresh

Years of peeling paint and weathering had taken away from the character of this exterior. Careful preparation and fresh paint brought all of the white trim and foundation back to a clean, crisp appearance.

🎨 Project Progress Update

A lot has been completed since our last update on this Bristol exterior.

The scraping and sanding are complete, the additional wood repairs are nearly finished, most areas have been spot primed, and the old fire escape and ladder have been removed.

Recent storms have left a few areas holding too much moisture, so we’re allowing the building to dry properly before finishing the remaining prep and moving into the painting stage.

We’re getting close and looking forward to sharing the transformation!

Here’s a timelapse look at some of the scraping and sanding we completed today. While it may not be the most exciting part of a project, it’s one of the most important. Taking the time to properly prepare a surface helps create a finish that’s built to last.
