There are 3 things you should NOT do in June when it comes to caring for your 🌳 lawn.
Avoid damaging your lawn this summer by following these pointers!
1. Do not ✂️ cut your grass too short. Cutting it too short can allow the roots to become weaker, make soil dry out faster and help w**ds to grow faster. Instead, keep your grass cut a few inches taller. A good rule of thumb is 3–4 inches for fescue and 2–3 inches for Bermuda or Zoysia.
2. Don't 💧 water your lawn at the wrong time of day. If you water in the middle of the day, chances are the water is evaporating and never making its way to the roots. The best time to water your lawn is between 5 AM and 9 AM.
3. Don't ignore 🌿 w**ds. They will take over your lawn much quicker in the summer. Professional treatments will help your lawn look its best throughout the summer as well as the whole year!
