Sign Language USA (SLUSA) was established in 1986 by Dr. Richard F Rosen, a former Gallaudet professor who promoted the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Originally created to provide American Sign Language Interpreters, SLUSA has grown into a full service language interpretation and translation agency now with over 300 languages and services in person, virtu

ally, on-demand video remote, on demand telephonic, document translation, and live captioning. SLUSA's mission is "To help create a world where everyone has equal access to communication regardless of their language or ability to hear". SLUSA is a member of the following organizations:
