Bringing these old pine hardwood floors back to life! 🔥
These floors were in very rough condition when we started. They were extremely uneven, had numerous gaps and holes throughout, and required much more than a basic sanding.
We performed a cross-sanding process to properly flatten and level the old pine flooring before moving through the finer sanding stages. The homeowner also requested that the finished floors have no visible holes or cracks, so we went room by room, carefully filling gaps, nail holes, cracks, and imperfections throughout the entire house.
Once all of the preparation was complete, the floors were properly sanded and finished with 3 coats of natural polyurethane, giving the original pine a beautiful natural appearance while also adding protection and durability.
Old hardwood floors like these take extra time, patience, and attention to detail. Sometimes refinishing isn’t just about making a floor shiny — it’s about correcting years of wear and bringing the character of the original wood back out.
