WHAT WE LOVE: Waterford Kiwanians love to encourage and support the personal and academic development of our community's children. WHAT WE DO: *We have an annual $1,000 scholarship for a Waterford Union High School student. *We sponsor two K-Kids groups from Washington-Caldwell School and North Cape School. *We give Terrific Kids honors to children grades K-2 at Washington-Caldwell School. *We give Brought Up Grades (B.U.G.) awards to students at Washington-Caldwell School for grades 3-5. *We sponsor a Builder's Club at Washington-Caldwell School. *We sponsor a Waterford Area Youth Soccer team. *We give 3rd grade students at St. Thomas Acquinas and Washington-Caldwell School dictionaries. *With the help of Runzheimer International, we sponsor numerous high school students to attend Key Leader weekend. *We help fund Teen Nights at local middle schools. *We hold picnics and Christmas parties for those residents at Levi Barnes. *We hold a bowling tournament which proceeds go to Cottage 16, a home for displaced veterans. *We are also a member of the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce.
