Excited to be able to give back to the community! ✏️🍎
You know that we love our teachers and educators! The Educational Foundation of Watertown is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. In that 25 years, they have awarded more than $330,000 in classroom grants to teachers in the public and private schools, in support of the education of our students.
Together, CHB family, we've supported the food insecure students, the Gosling grads and now, inspired by the foundation's mission, we want to support our community's teachers (and, through them, our students)!
If you are interested in supporting, you can donate at Chandler House Bakery. The first $1,000 in donations will be matched 100% in a partnership between the bakery and the generosity of another small business owner - Tyler Beaumont of Beaumont Masonry LLC! If we're lucky enough to bring in more, anything over $1,000 will be matched at 50%!
The Educational Foundation is running a $25 for 25 campaign through its website and you can donate directly there if you prefer: https://www.edfoundationwttnwi.org/ways-to-donate.html. Because we can only track the donations that come through the bakery, those are the ones we'll match.
Finally, if you are a teacher (thank you!!) in need of a grant, you can apply here: https://www.edfoundationwttnwi.org/grant-info.html. Grants are due 10/4.
