Tossing some big ol boxes.

Cove crown and some good tunes to finish this kitchen off 🤌🏼

I would cut it flat if it were prefinished material but it hardly ever is 🤷🏽‍♂️

This took me 2 minutes to cut around a whole wall of cabinets

Usually a boomer that says it anyways, which tracks 😂

Another day in the office ✅

The lion does not concern himself with a drywall touch up or a boomer’s opinion on Facebook 🙏🏼

Island paneling going up. Species - Maple

I’d love to have a literally for this one reason but that ain’t in the cards for me right now, maybe they could plug me?👀🤣

This is how I do it, doesn’t have to be how you do it. I know mfs gonna be in the comments (Facebook) talking about how it’s wrong, instead of leaving a knowledgeable comment

I’ve done this like at least 5 different ways in the last 2 years and this is the most full proof way that I can make the panels look perfect after install is done.

I’ve kreged these panels, the screw breaks 4 outa 5 times especially with hickory or maple, or splits with paint grade because it’s MDF not poplar
I’ve created an L bracket with wood, leaves a tiny light gap between the panels. Prolly because the panel stiles aren’t even planed with purpose (not even square edges)
I’ve tried other methods that aren’t even worth mentioning

Reality is, I shoot 4 nails per side, the bottom nail gets covered by shoe, the top nail you cannot see under the countertop unless you were seriously trying to find it. So we’re left with 2 nail holes that will be filled with the nail putty that gets sent with the cabinets. I can live with that

Another reality, it’s better when we build them on site.

I’m literally always up for learning new tricks and tips, that’s one big reason why I even have social media

If you don’t like it, and don’t wanna leave a knowledgeable or helpful comment, I don’t care about your opinion 🤣

Trim out a garage scuttle with me 🫡

Do not forget the step where you make the jam borderline too big to fit in

We also add weight (plywood) to the drywall cutout so attic uplift air doesn’t dislodge the piece 🤙🏼
