I don't often share my own home on my business page, but thought I'd share a little update to my dining room centerpiece!! Happy Fall 🧡💚

before/after

converted stained trim to painted including fireplace (forgot to get after...will take when I go back up), walls freshened up with neutral color & better quality paint, new carpet & window treatments, updated door hardware (k***s to levers & matching hinges), added ceiling fans, new lighting yet to be decided as this will be challenging (pics to follow once completed), updated electrical switches & outlets

no before/afters of kitchen & bathrooms until after remodel (thankful my contractor is willing to travel to Minnesota for this one💪) did give them all a fresh coat of paint though to help with the overall look until beginning of 2027... I couldn't live with a lavender bathroom or teal kitchen 😳 and didn't want my clients to either 😉

furnishings on order & waiting for them to arrive 🤩 will make another trip back up for that...hoping to get new lighting installed then as well!

And that blue front door is now white!!

BONUS - getting to work for your college bestie and chatting with them everyday for few minutes before they leave for work.

Chatted about college days and the fun we had!! Thankful that there wasn't social media back then!! When we went out, we had fun and no phones got in the way!! Lots of laughs! Her daughter is turning 30 in few days, TIME IS PRECIOUS 🤗

removed popcorn ceiling & changed to executive, upgraded exhaust fan, removed tub/shower 🛁 & replaced with Onyx & hinged glass shower door, changed out vanity/countertop, new faucet, hardware, lighting💡, medicine cabinet, toilet 🚽, flooring, vent. Converted stained trim to painted, repainted ceiling & walls

this client had a great kitchen so gave it a little lift with new countertop, backsplash & pulls 🤩 Added couple new lights over their island. New barstools, dining table & chairs🪑 Oh, and some fun new towels from Geometry!!

issue: this client had a very small master bathroom, so we took away the walk-in closet and made it part of the bathroom to gain additional 6x6 (36 square feet)

master bathroom & closet:
GUTTED!!!
removed everything down to studs including the floor, updated plumbing & electric, rebuilt & restructured every part of the ceiling, walls & floor to be more structurally sound as well as plumb 🛠 extra work needed to accommodate tile shower with bench seat, pocket door & medicine cabinets, added additional exhaust fan & can lights (the amount of attic work to accomplish this was crazy 🥵), removed popcorn ceiling, repaired, re-textured to executive, converted previous shower into laundry area with addition of frosted door, new vanity, faucets, hardware, lights, flooring, toilet 🚽 with bidet 💦, painted ceiling, walls & trim, new door levers & hinges 🤩

NOTE:
pics started with original master bathroom on the right (pics 1,3,5) and master closet on the left (pics 2,4,6). As pics continue, you will eventually see the shower is now on the left and the old shower area became the space for the washer/dryer (my clients favorite part...upper level laundry!! no more stairs 🤗)
