Lakewood Ranch continues to draw attention for the proposed $80 million indoor sports multiplex at Premier Sports Campus North.

With four planned ice rinks and major tournament potential, this project could bring year round sports tourism, economic activity, and new opportunities for local families, athletes, and businesses.

Manatee County would contribute $5 million to the approximately $80 million multiplex project.

Great news for Manatee County and Lakewood Ranch. This proposed indoor sports multiplex could bring new opportunities for youth sports, tournaments, tourism, jobs, and long term economic growth.

Congratulations to Gordie and the Icemann team on helping move this vision forward. Projects like this show how thoughtful public private partnerships can strengthen our community while creating spaces families can enjoy for years to come.

Commissioners decided to advance the public-private partnership, agreeing to business terms including a 60-year land lease in Lakewood Ranch.

🤔 Has anyone else noticed that Pasco County looks suspiciously like a Zamboni?

Because between building ice rinks for Icemann Development , living in Florida’s Sports Coast, and now realizing our county may have been quietly on brand this entire time, I feel like the universe has been dropping hints. 😆
