I will be joining Reclaimed Island at the beach today for an after hurricane Irene beach clean up. Feel free to grab a trash bag or two, to separate recycleables and head on down to the beach to pick up the trash Irene left behind. It's a good reminder to see how much we throw into our oceans. It's also a good idea to bring rubber gloves. I will be in O.B. with some extra bags and gloves if you care to join me!

This is the Project John G. Early Contractor & Builder, Inc. has been working on for the past year or so. Check out their website. At the moment the farm is bustling with new baby pigglets and new baby cows. Let's welcome the new dairy barn on Martha's Vineyard!!

It’s official. As of this week the farm is in full motion. Fat Sally delivered twelve happy and healthy piglets, our first calf of the season was born, Eric was slapped in the face with a cow placenta and our second group of hens have begun laying in earnest.
