As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, the commitment to mental wellbeing doesn’t stop here.

Mental health is foundational to safety, focus, and teamwork. Creating more good days together means continuing to look out for one another, speaking up when something isn’t right, and using available resources without hesitation.

Whether it’s jobsite stress or personal challenges, support is always within reach. The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline offers free, confidential, 24/7 assistance because safety extends beyond the jobsite.

By keeping these conversations going, we strengthen our Safety 24/7 culture and help ensure more good days for everyone.

Psychological safety plays a critical role in mental wellbeing and in overall jobsite safety. A respectful, supportive workplace makes it easier for people to speak up, report concerns, and get help when they need it.

When teams feel supported, good days become more frequent, and safety becomes stronger for everyone.

Let’s commit to continue building workplaces where respect and support are part of our Safety 24/7 culture.

Long hours, tight deadlines, and demanding conditions can take a toll, and unmanaged stress can become a safety hazard.

Fatigue, trouble focusing, and increased frustration don’t just affect mental health; they can impact decision‑making and jobsite safety. A Safety 24/7 mindset means paying attention to these warning signs in ourselves and our coworkers.

By addressing stress early and supporting one another, we help create safe, more consistent, better days together.

If stress feels overwhelming, reach out to your healthcare provider or contact the 988 Lifeline, available 24/7.

In construction, stress, anxiety, and mental health challenges are common, yet conversations about them often aren’t. Creating more good days together starts with normalizing those conversations.

Just like reporting a physical hazard, speaking up about mental health concerns helps protect everyone. When we listen without judgment and support one another, we make it safer for people to reach out before they reach a breaking point.

If support is needed, the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline provides confidential, 24/7 help on the toughest days and every day in between.

Mental Health Awareness Month is here, and this year’s theme is “More Good Days Together.”

A good day on the job isn’t just about productivity. It’s about feeling safe, supported, and respected both physically and mentally.

In construction, the pressures can be heavy, but no one should carry them alone. By supporting one another and connecting people to resources when they need it, we can make more good days possible on and off the jobsite.

Throughout May, we’ll be sharing ways we can strengthen mental wellbeing, foster psychological safety, and look out for each other as part of our Safety 24/7 culture.
If you or someone you know needs immediate support, the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7.

In culmination of Women in Construction Week 2026, our CK team gathered for a celebratory breakfast from Freedom a la Cart and took time to recognize the accomplishments of women across our organization. The morning offered a meaningful chance to connect, share experiences, and celebrate one another.

We wrapped up with an inspiring panel featuring our CEO, President, and Vice Presidents, who spoke about the power of community and supporting one another as we continue to level up and build strong.

We will carry the energy of this week forward and continue building a future where everyone has the opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive.
