A kitten was trapped deep inside a storm drain, and our plumbers rescued her.🐾
At 10:40 pm, Drain & Plumbing Services answered a call from a Glenview resident. A kitten was trapped deep inside an underground storm-drain tile, and no one else was available to take on the rescue.
Our plumbing company had not previously worked on the downspout—we were brought in specifically to excavate the area and help rescue the kitten.
The following day, our crew worked in rotation for nearly four hours. In the heat and a very tight space, they carefully dug almost four feet to expose the storm tile.
The kitten had already been trapped overnight, and we knew we were racing against the clock.
Our crew continued working until they reached the kitten and freed her.
She was then taken for emergency veterinary care.
