These doors are custom Lincoln Doors that had a Roto multipoint locking system. The Roto lock Lincoln used on these doors has been discontinued and replacement parts are unavailable.

The clients have always hated how complicated these doors were to lock and unlock. Like most European style locking systems you had to pull up on the lever to throw the bolts, then turn the thumbturn to lock it.

We converted this system to a single point locking system. This allows them to shut the door and simply turn the thumbturn to lock the door. It's a much simpler process.

On the stationary door we replaced the non functional internal flushbolt system with Baldwin surface mounted flush bolts.

As you can see the top bolt is longer than the bottom. Although many install the same length bolts top and bottom, when we install these bolts we always install a longer bolt on the top. This allows the user to lock and unlock the door without a step stool or ladder.

Although converting a multipoint system to a single point is not our first choice, it definitely offers a greater ease of use.

These clients are super happy.

If you have high-end custom doors that are not working properly, or are too complicated to lock and unlock we would be happy to help you with them.
