Please be aware that there may be a temporary drop in water pressure in the following areas on Thursday (8/20/26) and Friday (8/21/26) between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

- Hilltop Road and any services along Bird River Road from Hilltop Road to Campbell Boulevard
- The homes in the area of 350 Upperlanding Road in Essex

Baltimore City DPW is doing a leak detection inspection of approximately 5.5 miles of pipe in order to identify potential leaks or areas requiring maintenance. No loss of water service is expected.

Temporary lane closure announced in Middle River for water main installation

MIDDLE RIVER, Md. — The Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation has announced a temporary lane closure that will affect Middle River motorists this summer and fall.
A temporary lane closure has been announced along Chesapeake Park Plaza from Dark Head Cove Road to Martin Boulevard.
The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. from July 7 until October 31, 2026.
The lane closure will be taking place so that contractors can install a new 12-inch water main.
Motorists should plan accordingly.
