The day the crown molding was installed, versus almost 3 years later.

This external miter joint in the crown molding hasn’t opened even in the slightest.

It’s a treat to be able to see how previous work is doing after some time has passed.

All miter joints are reinforced with glue. This is especially important when the molding is in contact with the ceiling, which can apply significant movement/pressure with seasonal changes.

For this pantry, I suggested an inset storage space for cans.

This practical solution offers additional storage without taking any floor space. It also makes each can easily visible.

This is pre-paint, the corners are sanded so it looks like one piece once it’s painted

I think it was a good idea, what do you think?

Accent wall recently installed in this already beautiful entryway. It pairs with the brick barrel ceiling and arched front door quite nicely.

I painted the beadboard and stained & clearcoated the knotty alder trim off site beforehand to reduce the time required in the home.

Prefinishing materials does present a different set of consideration requirements, but it can be a great option for the right project.

A pair of twin built-ins for this living room, complementing the beautiful existing stone fireplace.

Note how the countertop matches the fireplace mantle, and the profile of the very top mimics the mantle top detail.

This homeowner had a superb design for these, and it was a privilege bringing her ideas to life.
