Shoutout to my buddy Juan with M & A Concrete for the phenomenal work he continues to do in flatwork concrete. He specializes in driveways, patios, steps, floors, curbs, and gutters. When you hire Juan, you can feel confident knowing you’re in good hands.

Juan and I have known each other since we were kids. We grew up in the same neighborhood apartments, and now we both have families, children, responsibilities, and our own trades. Life has taken us in different directions, but somehow our work still keeps us connected and gives us opportunities to help each other.

On this project, Juan noticed that the front brick wall was damaged before proceeding with the new concrete steps. Instead of ignoring it or pouring around the problem, he contacted me and made sure the homeowner knew what was going on. The client made the right decision and chose to have the brick repaired properly before the concrete was poured. That is what professionalism, honesty, and caring about the final result look like.

We both know where we came from, and we want the best for ourselves, our families, and the people who trust us with their homes. We are working hard to build something of our own, support one another, and create an empire through the trades we have worked hard to learn.
