I was running an advertisement recently for Dead Tree Felling, and my account had been hacked somehow. This morning there was some ad for a product in Malaysia that had a $2500 daily spending budget set. It was bananas. Luckily I caught it early, since I had receipts sent to my email, and was notified of the first round of payments. Luckily it’s not $2500, facebook bills in increments, so I was charged a few separate times totaling in like 28 dollars or something.
Anyway, it’s not easy to get ahold of a human at the Facebook, as I’m sure you could’ve guessed.
Also the articles in the support center often times have nothing to do with the situation you’re in. Add the fact that someone is literally stealing money from you in those very seconds, reading, and trying to navigate a portal is very difficult.
I guess I’m just using this post as an avenue for me to vent, but also maybe spread some awareness for others maybe doing the same thing I’m doing.
I’ve contacted the bank, and closed my card out, and everything, so things should be fine. But this affects the actual ad I had put out to help my business grow.
To the hacker that may be reading this:
Enjoy your safety net of hiding behind a computer screen, and get your laughs in.
If we were in person, the fire of anger that burns in my stomach, would be noticed in my boiling iris, and bring you to your knees.
Happy holidays everyone! Let’s end this post on a good note, and look forward to what 2026 brings. Stay in the moment. Don’t get trapped in the past, or lost in the future.
Nature is never in a rush, and yet it accomplishes everything it sets out to do.
