WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Burns, a 21 yr Navy veteran and his wife of 29 yrs Melissa Burns need your help. Their 77-year-old parents’ home in Huntsville TX caught fire August 17th. Because of Their father Louis Arnold’s quick action, the home was saved but 1 room was badly damaged. This is the room that those who come to help care for Mrs. Lucy Arnold stay in. Mrs. Lucy had a massive stroke and is bedbound requiring full around-the-clock care, and the family came together to make this happen at home for her.
As if all this was not hard enough, Brian and Melissa’s oldest son Johnathan Burns, who is an Army vet and currently a national guardsman, had 16 hrs. of surgery this month to remove a massive area of cancer on his scalp requiring 2 skin grafts, his skull to be sanded down, and over 40 staples to hold it all together. This family has served our country, state, county and city for many years and is in great need of our help at this very difficult moment.
A little more back story:
Mrs. Lucy was a teacher and minister in Huntsville TX. Mr. Louis also worked for the school district in Huntsville for many years. Mrs. Lucy cared for babies to teens as the director of Kidzone and Heritage Christian Academy for over 20 yrs. As the leader of the Ministry of Helps to the community at Family Faith Church she held hundreds of families’ hands in their darkest moments and brought light and aid to thousands of people in their toughest times over the past 35 years. Their home has been a place where children and teens with troubled homes have been able to find peace and refuge. This is a family that takes care of not only each other but has taken care of countless others in their community if ever someone deserves your help these hard-working servants are them. Please partner with us to help make this home whole again.
