We are a woman-owned, family run electrical contractor based in Northern Virginia.
I’m Marli Ferentinos, the owner of MORC Electric, LLC. My background is in pharmacy, but I have been a stay-at-home parent for the past 9 years to two amazing and wild children that I share with Chris. The core of my previous career, pharmacy, is boiled down to customer service. Whether it be with patients at a retail pharmacy, or clinical staff within a healthcare system, it’s all about being presented with a problem and having the confidence to find a solution. That’s what I bring to MORC – I am an articulate, straight to the point talker, and if I don’t have an immediate answer for you, I will find it.
Chris Ferentinos, my husband, is the licensed Master Electrician for MORC Electric. Chris has worked and studied for almost 20 years in all aspects of electrical distribution. He’s worked on high voltage power lines and serviced and upgraded residential and commercial fixtures and equipment.
MORC Electric was born of strife. We experienced our own horror with dishonest contractors when remodeling our family home back in 2022. Right then, we decided we would limit hiring companies and contractors for our own projects, if we could. We put our focus on starting a business that would allow us to help our community to restore the trust that a business can prioritize clear communication and affordability while offering spectacular results.
That’s the story behind MORC Electric; we knew we could provide a service for clients in situations where they may feel out of their depth, in comfort and skill. We strive to offer a different and more personal experience, constantly encouraging clients to just text or call us with questions or to get second opinions, whether for another’s work or our own.
