Dang its hot! One issue that pops up in late summer is a water and heat loving plant Nutsedge. We tend to dump lots of water to keep the grass green and this w**d takes off much faster than our grass. Don't pull it, you'll likely make it worse as it has rhizomes under the grass which will spread. This is one we spot treat if you are on our scheduled rotation to eliminate it. If you want to DIY, get a sulfentrazone product. đŸ˜‰

Pulling w**ds! Unfortunately I think if I sprayed enough w**d control to stop 100% of w**ds the Turf would disappear as well. It is true Unfortunately, some break out is to be expected especially towards the end of our four month control period. But June is here and will be time to apply the second half of the summer PreEmergent control and PostEmergent to knock back some of the break out.

Its time to mount arms! These devil things have hatched and are out building their houses out of our evergreens. They then wrap silk strands around branches which constrict the branch untill it dies off from growth. Bag worms, I'm spraying my trees with this product, bought in bulk from supplier's but you can get the bottle local. It will also kill ticks, fleas, and grubs that the moles are hunting in your turf.
