CLAM FESTIVAL PARADE!!!
Cartoon theme, We represented “The Lorax”, Dr. Seuss’ heroic environmentalist… who speaks for the trees. Dr. Seuss' The Lorax inspires us to remember the bigger impact of our actions on the environment and our community. Yarmouth and Maine are indeed special places. One thoughtful parade spectator said to me, “ appreciate the irony” and he’s right. Our primary role is to prune and remove trees. A BIG part of our job is maintaining tree health. So, in the book, the Once-ler ( as portrayed by my son, James) clear cuts ALL the truffula trees to make thneeds, (something which everyone needs). Suggest you look it up and reread it or view the book.

We definitely did well by our client Marcel today. And he did well by us.
Marcel runs Marcel‘s submarine shop in Boothbay Harbor
We removed a rotten spruce hung up in a midsize oak over his house and powerline
Four ropes, three blocks, two skilled groundsmen, and me in a lift:)
