The first day covered a wide range of topics, from engineering-led approaches to improving IAQ in public spaces and schools, to hospital resilience during bushfire smoke events, smarter ventilation strategies and the latest international trends shaping healthy buildings.
The conference is providing valuable insights into how our industry can continue to improve occupant health, building performance and sustainability outcomes.

Attending the first meeting of the Parliamentary Friends of Clean Air Quality at Parliament House as guests of The Safer Air Project was a privilege.

Assistant Minister for Health Rebecca White MP announced the Australian Centre for Disease Control's investment in a CSIRO-led project to assess the economic impact of poor indoor air quality—an important step towards building the evidence base needed to drive meaningful and lasting change.
