Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Replacement – Mission, BC

Customer was having issues with inconsistent water pressure. After inspecting the system, we found the old pressure reducing valve was failing and needed replacement.

Installed a new PRV and shut-off valve, ensuring proper water pressure throughout the home and reliable operation.

Removed old PRV
Installed new pressure reducing valve
Added new shut-off valve
System tested and working properly

Leak Call Turned Into Major Find

Got a call for a small leak in a PEX water line.

When we arrived, we located and repaired one hole on the hot line

After further inspection in the ceiling, we discovered 8–10 additional holes in the PEX piping

Cause? Rats chewing through the water lines.

Rodents will chew PEX, especially in ceilings and attic spaces, and what looks like a minor drip can quickly turn into major water damage if not properly investigated.

We:
Repaired all damaged sections
Pressure tested the system
Ensured everything was sealed and secure

If you’re hearing scratching in your ceiling or notice unexplained leaks, don’t ignore it. It could be more than just one small issue.
