Yesterday I was in the Superstition Mountains in AZ. I thought I would take a crack at finding the Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine, but it was 105 degrees, and there’s all those curses to deal with.

Sooo.. I went to the old mining town of Goldfield at Apache Junction. A restored old ghost town. It was awesome! If you’re ever in Phoenix, you should visit.

One of my favorite parts of this great American Road Trip was visiting the Billy The Kid Museum and grave in Fort Sumner NM. The museum is awesome. Not just info on outlaw Billy, but a huge collection of old Southwest antiques and oddities. It’s worth a trip off the beaten path.
