It’s nice to get emails like this time to time. The building industry is tough for many reasons, especially when attempting to try something new. Was good to be a main part of this job. The LUXE team should be proud 💪🏼 Cobbitty Modular Project — Hi Team,

I just wanted to reach out and say a genuine thank you to everyone who has been part of the Cobbitty modular home.

What we’ve pulled off in 20 to 25 weeks with everything that’s been thrown at us along the way is something to be proud of. It hasn’t always been easy, but every single trade has continued to show up, do great work, and keep the standard high throughout. That hasn’t gone unnoticed.

What this project has shown is that modular construction can absolutely work for Mirvac going forward. We’ve proven that. And a big part of why it works is the people involved the quality of work and the professionalism everyone has brought to this has been genuinely impressive.

So, thank you really. You’ve all played a part in making this something special, and I hope you’re as proud of it as I am.

“Earlier this week, I teamed up with the legends from James Hardie for an epic media day showdown: Team James Hardie vs Team Parramatta!
We had some serious talent on the Eels side with ex-player Andrew Davey leading the charge, plus a bunch of development players bringing the heat. And judging the whole thing? None other than the man himself—Scotty Cam!
It was a ripper of a day—mixing footy skills with some serious carpentry challenges in a fun 3-part series that’s dropping on socials in a few months. Laughs, friendly banter, a bit of friendly competition, and heaps of good energy all round. Massive thanks to the James Hardie crew for having us—it was such a blast and a cool experience getting behind the tools with the pros.
