Couple weeks ago on a Saturday a neighbour asked if I could unblock a drain for them. After a couple of hours of no success, I realised there’s more to this than a blocked drain. Got the camera out and there you go, a a collapsed and squat old pitch-fibre line.

Lads dig down ripped out, And replaced. And all reinstated.

Well that’s a wrap for us. As from my previous post, we first stepped on site in 2021. And after 3 phases over that time, today was our last day 16/02/2026, with I Civils fishing up the tarmac. The weather this year did definitely put a damper on this, as we was meant to have finished this time last month.

We now have the finish line in sight, with tarmac going down Saturday. Thanks to I Civils, for giving their Saturday up to fit this one in.

Lads been busy for the start of the year, with numerous jobs started all over. But this one we gave the lads 2 weeks to finish a road construction, driveways and ditch works ready for tarmac. Just driveways to top to finish. Fair play to the lads as they pulled it out the bag!!
Thanks to I Civils for fitting us in, and working with us to get it done with the tarmac.
