About Us
Todd Pritchett and Craig Dixon both studied architecture in Atlanta and learned their trade in top Atlanta firms. Todd apprenticed with one of Atlanta’s original Residential Architecture firms, Norris & Lynch and later helped form Kenneth Lynch & Associates, before starting his own firm in 1994. Craig worked on large urban projects at Thompson, Ventulett and Stainback and was exposed to a wide array of theories, materials and technologies before he joined Todd’s Studio in 2000.
Todd grew up in the northeast Georgia mountains, spending summers at Lake Rabun with day visits to Lake Burton. Todd’s good fortune of designing numerous lake properties comes from his intimate understanding of these very special places. Fond summer memories became a useful guide to design homes influenced by local Appalachian and rustic modern Architecture to create a vernacular style that respect these beautiful mountain Lakes.
Craig is an Atlanta native and a 3rd generation Registered Architect. His grandfather, Lawrence Murray Dixon, began his career working on New York’s Waldorf-Astoria and went on to become the most prolific architect of Miami’s South Beach Art Deco District in the -30’s and -40’s. For Craig, this intimate exposure to Art Deco, Modern, and Traditional architecture of Atlanta and the South provides endless inspiration.
Todd & Craig run their office as a small boutique firm working on every project from start through completion. Their emphasis on personal relationships is a key ingredient to designing unique homes which has lead to many clients returning for multiple projects throughout the years. For such a small firm, this approach has lead to multiple awards for Architecture, Kitchens, and Bathrooms, and a Urban Design Commission Award of Excellence, as well as multiple publications in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, LUXE Interiors & Design, HOME magazine, Southern Living, Trends, Elle Decor, This Old House and more.
