It's been a while since I posted anything personal but, I promise it was for a good reason(s). I intended to share this post at the end of 2021 but, there was much-needed time and thoughtful filtering/ editing of moments filled with fear, thrill, lessons learned, and peace.

From Dec. 8th - 14th, a few friends from church and I traveled to the Grand Mayan Resort in Cancun, MX. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Even before the flight. I was burdened with many financial obstacles that forced me to lean/trust on God. [Matthew 6:31-32] From my new job letting me take that much time off to having enough money for Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews in time for Christmas. [Proverbs 10:22] It was effortless for me to give into my struggles; Convincing myself that I did not deserve a vacation.

Thank God he placed friends and family who helped me emotionally, spiritually, & financially. I spent around $450 on the entire trip; My first ever trip since the beginning of the pandemic.

2022 - Bring It On!
