We get calls frequently about how our clients can protect their facilities against rodents and / or prevent their docks from requiring large repairs.

There are plenty of ways to mitigate these issues, but the first step is keeping the pits of the dock levelers clean.
Rodents love to be cozy and protect, and your dock leveler checks off their boxes. On top of this, cleaning out the pit doesn't allow moisture to cling to heavily to all the metal structuring of the dock itself. We can't begin to tell you how often we service docks, and it's just falling apart due to corrosion.

For those who have dock levelers, a yearly cleaning is recommended for a massive weight taken off your future shoulders.
