Message from Founder | Director of Aran Group
It is indeed a privilege for Aran Group to be part of such a special day. Today, we commemorate the achievements, accomplishments and many deeds of women, girls, pioneers and world leaders, who have built, are building, will most certainly build a fairer, stronger and more inclusive future.
International Women's Day represents, a substantial segment of an extensive history of more than a century of women's activism and it has always been imbued with a profound understanding that the greatest weight that words can carry, is the difference that they can make. At Aran Group, we have moulded our work culture and environment, to facilitate women empowerment in every aspect. We set the benchmark, with more that 57.1 % of our organisation being run by women: bringing equal pay rate and recognition to our people. We recommit towards ensuring that everyone, stands an equal chance of reaching their full potential, regardless of their gender identity, race, ethnicity or religion
On this notable day, we’re proud to introduce Winning Smiles, a charitable organization by Aran Group. Currently working towards various corporate social responsibility initiatives, one of the closest projects to us, is an initiative, that we have recently started in Pakistan, where we are promoting health literacy and providing young girls in low funded government schools, the knowledge about feminine hygiene through awareness sessions, and resources to manage their period with dignity while at school.
I would like to seize this opportunity to encourage all females to strive for success always, and remember the sacrifice and struggles that other strong female personalities have taken in the past to draw out this pathway for the women of today. I encourage women to take on, what they have been passed from their mothers, and vow to augment it, towards, a fairer future for the upcoming generations.
So not just today, but every single day, let us celebrate women’s achievements, and let’s keep pushing for progress so we can all reach our full potential by creating new cultural, economic and social codes for a gender equal future. Because when women and girls succeed, we all do. At Aran Group, we inspire to be an organization, in which equality is no longer a goal, milestone or aspiration, but a reality, leading by example. Therefore, we are laying the stepping stones, of revolutionising the industry with more female representation.
